Can I require approval before an appointment is confirmed?+
Yes. Requests can remain pending until the owner confirms them. Schedl does not hold cards or collect appointment payments.
Can clients manage an appointment without an account?+
Yes. Clients can book without a password, then verify access from their manage link to cancel an eligible appointment or request a new time.
How does it handle 90-minute sessions?+
Services have configurable durations and buffer times, so 30 min, 60 min, and 90 min sessions sit side-by-side without conflicts.
Is Schedl HIPAA-compliant?+
Schedl does not offer a BAA or a HIPAA-compliant medical intake product. Use it for ordinary service appointments, not protected medical records or clinical intake.
Does a booking reserve a treatment room too?+
Schedl checks the selected therapist's availability. Treatment rooms, equipment, and other shared resources are not reserved separately, so the business must coordinate those resources before confirming the appointment.
Schedl helps shape the booking workflow and client communication. It does not replace your legal cancellation policy, payment provider terms, or regulated-industry compliance requirements.
